Belize River lodge
Back in May of 2025, Annika and Joseph visited both Belize River Lodge and Long Caye for the first time. The accommodations, food, service, culture, and fishing Belize had to offer was unmatched. So, we have our next trip planned, and have room for more!
In May, the conditions are great for Migratory Tarpon. But the flats always hold Permit, Bonefish and Snook in the Mangroves. There’s even the opportunity at by-catch of Jack Crevalle, Barracuda, Cobia, and more.
Belize is a wonderful country that we’re stoked to be revisiting in 2026 and would love for you to join us!
Long caye outpost
BRL has an extension to stay at their “Long Caye Outpost” a little sliced of heaven on an island in the caribbean to have direct access to your days fishing more specifically, the flats.

In our past visit to Belize River Lodge, Joseph and Annika created a handful of solid YouTube videos fishing both the flats, and up the freshwater river systems. They even completed a Slam targeting multiple species on fly!
